John Mrozek and his wife Terri are natives of Chicago's southside.  Married for over 40 yrs, together they have raised 3 daughters, Jennifer, Becky, and Chrissy.  All three have graduated from St. Denis, Mother McAuley, and Lewis University.  John worked for the City of Chicago for more than 29 years.  John has always been an avid golfer and a supporter of all Chicago sports teams...except, of course the Cubs.  John biggest support, however, has always been for his family, friends, and community.  Never missing a game, John has been heard cheering (heckling, and at times being ejected ) at countless games for his daughters and now grandchildren.  He and Terri have been tireless volunteers for St. Denis for years and anyone lucky enough to know him can attest to the type of loyal friend he is.  Stories abound of John's humor and ability to make us laugh. 

Now John needs our help, love, and support.  For all that he is given us in laughter and loyalty, we now need to give back.  John is in a fight against ALS.  John and his family face numerous challenges over the coming years adjusting to this debilitating disease.  Insurance cannot cover all medical expenses, not to mention home adjustments and necessary equipment. 

We know that times are tough....but any support, regardless of size, would go a long way to easing the burden that John and his family face moving forward.  A dollar for every smile John has brought to us may be to much to ask...but anything you can do would be a blessing at this time.
